First Rant, Late Post

I should've posted how great our HS batch reunion was but I didn't. No... it's not that it wasn't great, I simply forgot about it. Yep, I forgot and I can imagine my friends raising their eyebows at that.

Why? Due to my friggin' work life. That's all I have right now. Although I could've gone to another reunion last week, I opted to curl up and sleep away my work-related misery. I can't afford to lose precious sleep and much-coveted rest back at home in Batangas. You can say I'm still the anti-social kid way back in high school. Back then I was just terribly shy and an introvert. Now, I am just broke most of the time. *sigh*

So much for trying to change my lifestyle. But I'm learning and trying to get back in the system again. Next week, my officemates and I will go to the special screening of "Paraiso, Tatlong Kwento ng Pag-asa" at MoA. Tickets are free for the M* employees (although proceeds of the ticket sales will go to charity, go figure), and my teammates insisted that I go. They gave me an ultimatum, either I go with them or none of us will watch it. Sly people.

Anyway, I'm sure the movie will be worth missing my usual bedtime and sleeping on a stranger's bed. I mean at MCM's apartment. Whatever.

Midweek Post

Assuming that everybody I know already watched Transformers on the silver screen, there's actually no point in elaborating how awesome that movie is (watched it last Saturday). ^_^

Although my mom paid for our tickets (my sister and me), it was really worth it. Also, it got me thinking that I should watch movies more often in SM Batangas because their regular-priced tickets only costs PHP80-PHP90.

The next movie on my "movies-to-watch" list is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I know a lot of HP fans are waiting for Harry's first on-screen kissing scene than the actual movie (including me), but I was torn among the people inviting me to watch the movie with them.

I guess I'll be declining my movie buddy over my college best friend this time. >.<

Even though my officemate disagrees with me that they should not be called Gundam (he said that they are robots) because Gundams are those pogi-mobiles suits piloted by the hero of any Gundam-themed-anime, I am still proud that I finished the mobile kits in a day. As you can see from the picture, they are quite small (about 5-6 inches in height) but they are eye-catchers in our house.

Anyway, I have no real plans of replacing all of our display vases with mobile suit models as I do not have the money for that. Hopefully, I get another one this Christmas. Yeah, those model kits are a gift from a friend since last year.. eheheh..
